Extragenital tests to detect chlamydia, gonorrhea cleared for marketing

(HealthDay)—The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has cleared for marketing two tests that detect the presence of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae with diagnostic testing of extragenital specimens.
